Earth Hour

This week we have begun discussions about Earth Hour and the importance of being mindful when using electricity. We have watched videos from the Earth Hour website  and discussed how people around the world will celebrate Earth Hour by turning out their lights for one hour at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night. At home, you could talk with your child about ways your family could cut down on the use of electricity. It might be simply turning off the lights when you leave a room. In your child’s nightly envelope, you will find a letter your child wrote today telling you about Earth Hour. We hope you can find some time to talk to your child about ways your family helps the Earth.

Happy Earth Hour
