Artist at work….coloured fingers

If your child came home with purple, pink or red hands, ask them about today’s art lesson. We are revisiting our colour inquiry and reviewing how colours go together to make new colours. Today we used squares of crepe paper and water. We placed crepe paper on heart shapes and then painted with water. The students watched carefully how the colours ran together. Now we have beautiful hearts for our bulletin board. These will be sent home at a later time. Here is a peek of the process.
