Geometry- shape challenges

We are learning words such as hexagon, rhombus and trapezoid. We are already pros at identifying triangles, circles, squares and rectangles. We are learning. How to combine shapes to make different shapes. Here are some of our challenges.



We are making discovering that many different shapes can be combined to make a hexagon. We now have a game called Fill the Hexagon. We use shape dice and try to be the first to fill in six hexagons with a variety of shapes. Math is fun!
