Create Bravely

Monday is International Dot Day! We created bravely this week and made our mark. Students used a variety of materials to create artwork. Stickers, bingo dappers, buttons, Pom Poms, markers, chalk and paper were used and students were encouraged to design whatever they wished. The goal was to be brave and create something. The students are learning that the phrase, “I can’t!” isn’t one we use in our room. We all try our best and we honor each other’s work.

The the book that inspired this work is titled, The Dot by Peter Reynolds.
