Play Day Fun!

Today our kindergarten learners free flowed from a wide range of activities. They really enjoyed the amount of space we had for our outdoor play. We took over the entire side yard, pavement area and the K gated area. It was wonderful to see students self regulate and go to the tasks that interested them. We were lucky with the weather. It was overcast but warm. Thank you to our parent volunteers today. They managed the ice sidewalk chalk, the bubble station and managed bathroom breaks. We couldn’t have run a smooth day without their help. If you child talks about the frozen sidewalk chalk, you might want to consider making some over the summer. It’s a great sensory task but it is very messy.
