It was an exciting morning of discoveries. The students entered the classroom and discovered 9 chrysalises had opened over the weekend. The students were delighted to see the movement of the butterflies. We took the butterflies out to the pond and released them. The butterflies are Painted Lady Butterflies that look very similar to Monarch Butterflies. We are learning the differences between the two types.
