Ten Blocks Tall

We have been working on understanding measurement terms such as bigger than, small than, about the same, shorter and taller. We have also discussed different ways to measure items. We have used foam shapes, shoes, ribbons, string and handprints. This week we have discussed the importance of using the same non standard unit to measure items. We are using interlocking cubes to measure items in our classroom. Here is a link to our measurement book titled Ten Blocks tall. http://msty.me/1aOxqDN
