Mosaics and Dot Art continued

The students have been busy creating artwork from glass beads, sticker dots and Bingo Dappers. The glass beads (From Micheal’s and Dollarama) are used to create designs and pictures on a round piece of cork. The students are learning about colour combinations, patterning, sorting, lines and curves. I also noticed the incredible fine motor skills that are developing while the students carefully select, pick up and place the glass beads and the sticker dots. The fine motor practice helps make it easier for students to hold pencils and write letters.

Here is a glimpse at some of their art designs.

What art creations have you done at home? Where do you see dot designs?
